Established national law firm is expanding its San Francisco bankruptcy and restructuring team and seeks a lateral partner to take a leadership role in the office. The position offers responsibility for high-value insolvency matters across Chapter 11 restructurings, out-of-court workouts, and related litigation.

The successful candidate will join a collaborative practice handling creditor and debtor-side representations, bankruptcy litigation, and distressed asset transactions. This is an opportunity to shape strategic client work, mentor junior lawyers, and play a central role in business development for the regional office.

Proven partner-level experience in bankruptcy and restructuring matters (Chapter 11 and related litigation)
Track record of leading complex restructurings, workouts, and insolvency-related litigation
Strong client-management and business development capabilities; a portable practice or demonstrable origination history preferred
Member of the relevant state bar and able to practice in California
Ability to supervise and mentor associates and contribute to team growth
