Lead-role opportunity at a growing Canadian law firm seeking a partner to build and lead practices in construction, commercial litigation and labour & employment from its Toronto office. The firm is in an active growth phase following recent additions and is prioritizing front-end construction and infrastructure work rather than disputes.

Ideal candidates will bring a portable practice and be able to grow business — equity or income partner structures are available depending on the strength and trajectory of the book. Team moves (partner plus associates) are preferred where available.

Specific openings include a Toronto-focused commercial litigation partner role that requires a fully portable litigation book, and a top-priority construction & infrastructure hire focused on project-side work (contract drafting, project finance experience advantageous).

Proven partner-level experience in construction and/or commercial litigation and/or labour & employment.
Portable book of business with demonstrable client relationships; larger books or team moves preferred.
Experience on front-end construction matters (contract drafting, project finance or similar) for the construction priority role.
For litigation role: fully portable litigation book required.
Track record of business development and ability to grow a regional practice (connections to Prairie jurisdictions an asset).
Membership in the Ontario bar or ability to be admitted.
