Leading national and international law firm platform is looking to add a senior transactional commercial real estate partner to its Toronto office. The role focuses on large-scale commercial real estate transactions (acquisitions, dispositions, financings and related work) rather than leasing, condominium or pure development practices.

Ideal candidates will bring a portable transactional practice and be able to partially fill their own matter pipeline while benefiting from a broad national and global platform. Environmental due diligence experience is a strong asset. The team offers a collaborative environment and a holistic partner compensation approach.

Senior partner with 15+ years' experience in transactional commercial real estate
Proven track record on large commercial transactions (acquisitions, disposals, financings) — not leasing or condo-focused work
Environmental due diligence experience considered a plus
Portable / partial book of business and demonstrated client relationships; experience at national or large regional firms preferred
Strong client development, deal management and team leadership skills
