Senior partner hire to lead and develop corporate and compliance work from the Doha office of a leading international firm. The role is flexible on practice focus, with a preference for corporate / commercial experience and the ability to advise on regulatory and governance matters.

The successful candidate will take a senior client-facing role, grow a team locally and across the region, and work on cross-border matters supported by an established international platform. The firm is open to candidates with a portable practice or who can originate new business in the market.

Proven senior-level experience in corporate, compliance or regulatory practice, ideally with exposure to regional or international clients.
Track record of originating and managing client relationships; a portable practice is welcome.
Ability to lead and mentor a team and to develop business in the Qatar market.
Strong commercial judgment, excellent drafting and advisory skills, and comfort on cross-border matters.
