Partner, Corporate (M&A & Governance) — Doha

Senior corporate partner role in Doha for a well-established international firm. The role will lead and grow a corporate practice focused on mergers & acquisitions and corporate governance across the region.

The partner will advise on cross-border transactions, act as a trusted commercial adviser to corporate clients, and work with local and international teams to win and execute mandates. There is scope to build and manage a team and to develop business in the market; a portable practice or client relationships will be considered an asset.

• Proven partner-level experience in M&A and corporate governance matters.
• Track record of originating or developing client relationships and commercial, cross-border transaction experience.
• Experienced team leader with strong project management and business development skills.
• Admission or ability to practise in the relevant jurisdiction(s) and permission to work in Qatar.
