Established national law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its Madison office to lead transactional work across corporate, finance and energy matters. The role focuses on M&A and commercial transactions, including technology-related deals, project finance and renewable and traditional energy matters.

The successful candidate will originate and manage client relationships, run deal teams, and work cross-practice on capital markets and technology transactions. This is a partner-level role with responsibility for business development and growing an energy-focused transactional practice.

Proven partner-level experience in M&A and corporate transactions, including project finance and energy-sector deals.
Track record of client origination and managing complex transactional matters; portable book of business welcomed.
Strong leadership and deal-management skills; able to lead teams and mentor junior lawyers.
Excellent commercial judgment and communication skills; licensed to practice in the relevant jurisdiction or able to become licensed.
