Senior partner opportunity in a major global law firm’s Chicago office, leading corporate transactions and sector-focused practices. The role centers on M&A and capital markets work, with substantial opportunities in healthcare and life sciences, technology transactions, and intellectual property-related matters.

Ideal candidates will lead or join a growing team handling buy- and sell-side M&A, issuer-side capital markets, emerging-growth and technology-company work, and IP litigation or transactional counseling. The group favors experienced teams but is also open to individual lateral partners.

This role requires strong client development skills and a portable practice or demonstrable book of business in one or more target sectors (healthcare/life sciences, technology, financial services, energy). The position is based in Chicago and will collaborate with national and international offices.

Established partner with significant transactional and/or capital markets experience.
Track record in M&A and capital markets; experience with technology transactions and IP-related matters preferred.
Sector experience in healthcare/life sciences, technology, financial services or energy.
Proven client development and business generation ability; portable practice preferred.
Comfort leading teams and working across domestic and international offices.
