Partner — Corporate & Intellectual Property (Antitrust) — New York

Established national law firm is seeking a lateral partner to lead and grow a cross-practice group in corporate transactions, patent litigation and antitrust matters. The role will focus on matters at the intersection of private equity, life sciences and technology, with additional work across energy-related matters.

The successful candidate will have a portable practice or demonstrated origination capacity and will collaborate closely with deal teams and litigation lawyers to handle IP enforcement, patent disputes and competition matters arising from transactions. This is a partner role with responsibility for business development, client relationship management and mentoring junior lawyers.

• Partner-level litigation and/or corporate practice experience with a strong focus on patent litigation and antitrust/competition work.
• Proven track record of originating and managing client matters; portable business or demonstrable new-client generation ability preferred.
• Experience advising or litigating matters involving private equity, life sciences, technology or related energy sector disputes.
• Strong leadership and team management skills; ability to work collaboratively across practices.
• Admission to practice in New York (or ability to become admitted) and eligibility to work in the United States.
