Partner — Corporate & Intellectual Property (Energy focus) — Las Vegas

Seeking a lateral partner to join a national law firm’s Las Vegas office to lead and grow a cross-practice corporate and intellectual property offering with a focus on energy and life-sciences related transactions.

The role centers on complex transactional work including M&A, private equity investments, licensing and technology-related deals, and corporate governance matters. You will work with deal teams across practices to service corporate clients and sophisticated private clients in the energy and life sciences sectors.

Candidates with an existing portable practice or demonstrable business origination ability are encouraged to apply; the role also involves mentoring associates and collaborating with partners across offices.

• Broad transactional experience in M&A, private equity or similar deals, with exposure to IP/licensing and life-sciences matters preferred
• Proven ability to originate or materially grow client relationships and to collaborate across practice groups
• Strong knowledge of corporate governance and transactional documentation
• Track record of leading deal teams and mentoring junior lawyers
