Partner — Corporate, Intellectual Property & Energy, Washington, D.C.

Established national law firm is seeking a partner to expand and lead a cross-practice transactional platform in corporate, intellectual property and energy matters out of the Washington, D.C. office. The role will focus on M&A, private equity and transactional work across life sciences and energy clients.

The successful candidate will have a track record of originating and executing complex deals, working collaboratively with IP and energy teams, and developing client relationships. This is a partnership-track lateral opportunity with responsibility for practice development and firm leadership within the region.

• Partnership or equivalent senior-level experience handling M&A, private equity and corporate transactions.
• Demonstrable experience advising on IP-driven deals and life sciences-related transactions, and familiarity with energy industry matters.
• Proven business development and client relationship skills; ability to bring and grow a portable practice.
• Admission to practice in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction and the ability to work from the Washington, D.C. office.
