Leading global law firm seeks a lateral partner to join its Seattle office to build and lead cross-practice work at the intersection of corporate transactions and intellectual property/technology. The role will work on M&A, capital markets and tech-transaction matters and will coordinate with IP litigation and transactional teams.

The team advises issuers, sponsors and technology companies across emerging growth, life sciences, financial services and energy sectors. The hire will collaborate with national and international offices on complex, multi-jurisdictional deals and high-value corporate work.

Portable practice and an existing book of business are welcomed; the firm is focused on growth in corporate/M&A, capital markets and technology-related practices.

Established partner-level experience in corporate transactions (M&A and/or capital markets) with strong exposure to technology or IP-related matters.
Proven track record of originating or leading deals and ability to work across M&A, capital markets and tech-transaction teams.
Comfort working on cross-border or multi-office matters and collaborating with litigation/IP specialists when disputes or transactional IP issues arise.
Strong client relationships; a portable practice is advantageous.
