Leading global law firm is seeking a senior partner to join its Houston office to grow and lead a cross‑practice offering across corporate/M&A, capital markets, technology transactions and intellectual property. The role will work with deal teams on complex M&A and capital markets matters and with transactional and litigation teams on technology and IP-related work.

The firm is prioritizing candidates who can bring or expand a portable practice and who have a track record of originating and closing transactions for clients in technology, life sciences, energy and financial services sectors. The position offers firm support to build out a regional platform and collaborate with national and international teams.

Partner-level experience in corporate/M&A, capital markets and/or technology transactions; IP transactional or IP litigation experience a strong plus.
Demonstrable book of business or history of origination and client development at the partner level.
Strong transaction management skills and experience working on cross-border or multi‑practice matters.
Established relationships with corporate clients in technology, life sciences, energy, or financial services, and ability to work with national/international teams.
