Partner — Corporate, IP & Technology (San Diego)

Leading national firm is building its San Diego corporate and technology offering and seeks a lateral partner to lead and grow a cross-disciplinary practice covering corporate M&A, capital markets, emerging-growth companies and technology transactions, with complementary intellectual property litigation and transactional work.

The role will involve originating and executing complex deals, advising issuers and growth companies, and working closely with patent and IP litigation teams on technology-driven matters. The partner will collaborate with offices across the U.S. and support business development to expand regional and sector coverage (life sciences, technology, financial services and energy highlighted).

• Proven partner-level experience leading corporate transactions (M&A and capital markets) and technology-related deals; IP litigation or IP transactional experience preferred.
• Track record of originating and developing client relationships and demonstrable business development capabilities; portable practice preferred.
• Experience managing and mentoring teams and coordinating cross-office client service.
• Bar admission and standing to practise in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction (California preferred).
