Leading international law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its San Francisco corporate team. The role focuses on corporate M&A (including private equity work), capital markets (issuer-side experience valued), and technology-related transactions, with frequent crossover into emerging growth/startup matters and technology/IP transactional work.

The successful candidate will help expand an already active practice in the region, work closely with cross‑office industry teams, and support both transactional and client-development priorities. This position welcomes partners with a portable practice and proven ability to originate and manage client relationships.

Established partner or counsel with significant transactional experience in M&A, capital markets and tech-related deals
Proven client-development track record and a portable practice or demonstrated ability to originate business
Experience advising emerging growth companies, technology clients, and life‑sciences/financial‑services clients is a plus
Bar admission and JD (or equivalent); strong leadership and teamwork skills across multiple offices
