Partner — Corporate & M&A, Los Angeles

Leading global law firm is seeking a partner to join its Los Angeles corporate practice with a primary focus on M&A and capital markets. The role will work across emerging-growth and technology company matters and collaborate with related practices including technology transactions and IP litigation/transactions.

The position suits a partner with an established transactional practice who can both originate and develop client relationships and contribute to a multidisciplinary team handling deals for technology, life sciences, financial services and other industry clients. Portable business is valued and will be considered as part of the hiring assessment.

• Established partner-level transactional practice with significant experience in M&A and/or private equity deals
• Experience on capital markets (issuer-side or similar) and transactions for technology or life sciences clients preferred
• Track record of generating and managing client relationships; portable business welcome
• Ability to work collaboratively with technology, IP litigation and regulatory teams on cross-practice matters
