Opportunity for a partner-level corporate lawyer to lead and grow a transactional/M&A practice in a newly opened New Jersey office of a leading national firm. The role focuses on mid- to large‑market mergers & acquisitions, corporate governance and other commercial transactions.

The firm seeks a visible, client-facing partner with a portable practice who can originate and manage complex deals, mentor junior lawyers, and collaborate across domestic practice groups. The office offers full-firm resources and cross-practice support.

Proven partner-level experience in corporate transactions and M&A
Demonstrable track record of client origination and business development; portable client base preferred
Strong technical transactional skills and corporate governance experience
Ability to lead deal teams, mentor associates, and integrate into a growing office
