Established global law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its San Diego office to lead and grow a corporate practice focused on M&A, capital markets and technology-related transactions. The role would suit a partner with an active transactional pipeline and interest in supporting emerging-growth and life sciences/energy sector clients.

There are also opportunities to collaborate with litigation and IP teams on technology and life-sciences matters. The successful candidate will help build client relationships, lead deal teams and partner with other offices in the firm's national and international platform.

Partner-level experience in M&A and capital markets, with significant transactional deal experience
Proven track record of originating or developing client relationships; ability to bring or grow a portable practice
Experience advising technology, life sciences or energy sector clients preferred
Strong team leadership, client management and cross-office collaboration skills
