Partner — Corporate / M&A & Technology Transactions — Washington, D.C.

Leading international law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its Washington, D.C. corporate practice with a focus on M&A, capital markets and technology-related transactions. The role will sit in a busy, cross-practice platform that works closely with litigation and IP teams on transactional and contested matters.

The team advises clients across technology, life sciences, financial services and other sectors on complex corporate work, including private equity and issuer-side capital markets. The office offers significant national and international deal flow and collaborative engagement with specialists across offices.

Candidates should be able to bring or develop a portable practice and will play a visible role in business development and client relationship management while supporting and mentoring junior lawyers.

• Established partner with a strong transactional background (M&A, private equity, or capital markets) or major technology/tech‑transactions practice.
• Proven record of originating and managing client relationships; portable business preferred.
• Experience working on cross-border or multi‑discipline matters and coordinating with litigation/IP teams.
• Bar admission or ability to be admitted in Washington, D.C.; excellent leadership and business development skills.
