Leading global law firm seeks a partner to join its Silicon Valley corporate team with a focus on M&A, capital markets, emerging-growth and technology transactions. The role will work closely with technology, life sciences, financial services and energy industry teams and with IP counsel on transactional and litigated matters.

Successful candidates will take a client-facing leadership role: managing major matters, originating and developing relationships, and mentoring junior lawyers. The position involves cross-office collaboration on regional and cross-border deals and capital markets work.

Established partner-level experience in corporate M&A and capital markets, with significant exposure to technology/venture-backed clients and emerging-growth transactions.
Proven client development and business origination capability; a portable book of business is desirable.
Track record working on cross-border transactions and coordinating with IP and securities teams.
Strong leadership, team management and mentoring skills; admission to practice in relevant US jurisdiction.
