Leading national firm seeks a lateral partner to grow an established Corporate & Technology practice from its Short Hills office. The role focuses on M&A and capital markets work for technology, life sciences, financial services and energy clients, plus technology transactions and emerging-growth company matters. The position will collaborate closely with the firm's IP and litigation teams on cross-practice client matters.

This is an opportunity to join a global full-service firm with national platform support and an existing client base. The team prioritizes candidates who can originate new business, lead transactions, and integrate work across corporate, tech transactions and IP litigation practices.

Partner-level experience handling M&A, private equity or capital markets transactions and technology transactions.
Proven client origination and relationship-management ability; a portable practice or book of business is advantageous.
Track record of working collaboratively with IP and litigation teams on cross-disciplinary matters.
Strong leadership, deal management and team-building skills; barred and authorized to practice in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction.
