Leading national law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its Employment & Labor practice in the San Francisco office. The role will combine high‑value litigation and counseling for employers with work across wrongful termination, wage-and-hour, discrimination, and workplace policies.

The successful candidate will join a busy team handling regional and national matters, managing more junior lawyers, and advising corporate clients on prevention and compliance. There is an expectation of contributing to and expanding an employer-side practice through client development and cross‑practice collaboration.

  • Established partner with a track record in employment and labor law (defense-side experience preferred)
  • Proven litigation and counseling experience across employment matters (wage-and-hour, discrimination, FMLA, etc.)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage matters and supervise associates
  • Business development capability; portable client relationships valued
  • Active bar admission in California or willingness to obtain admission
