Leading national law firm seeks a partner to join its Employment & Labor practice in the Washington, D.C. office. The role will focus on counseling employers and representing clients in a range of labor and employment matters across the public and private sectors.

The successful candidate will take a visible role in case work and client management, collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, and help expand the practice’s regional and national footprint. The firm welcomes candidates with a portable practice and demonstrable business development track record.

  • Established partner-level experience in labor and employment law, including counseling and litigation matters.
  • Proven business development ability and a track record of generating or maintaining client relationships; portable book of business welcome.
  • Strong leadership and team-management skills; experience supervising associates and coordinating cross-practice matters.
  • Active bar membership and excellent written and oral advocacy skills.
