Seeking a partner to lead and expand a litigation-focused practice in Washington, D.C., with strong work across employment, professional liability, healthcare, and construction matters. The role involves managing complex commercial and regulatory disputes, supervising teams, and partnering with clients on high-stakes litigation.

The team serves private and commercial clients on defense and counseling matters; candidates should be comfortable handling trials, motion practice, and high‑value contested matters. A demonstrated ability to develop and maintain client relationships is important; a portable practice or demonstrable origination record will be an advantage but is not strictly required.

  • Partner-level litigation experience in employment, professional liability, healthcare, or construction disputes
  • Established trial and motion practice with proven case management skills
  • Demonstrated client-development experience; portable business a plus
  • Experience supervising and mentoring associates and collaborating across teams
  • Bar admission in the District of Columbia or eligibility to waive in
