Established national practice is seeking a lateral partner to join its Washington, D.C. employment and labor team. The role will handle a mix of counseling, litigation, and labor matters for clients across industries, and will work closely with colleagues in related practice groups.

The team advises on workplace policies, discrimination and wage-and-hour disputes, union and collective-bargaining issues, and regulatory compliance before agencies and in court. The position offers a visible platform to grow and lead complex matters and to mentor more junior lawyers.

A portable practice is welcome; the firm is looking for a partner who can contribute to business development and strengthen client relationships.

  • Proven partner-level experience in employment and labor law, with a mix of counseling and litigation matters
  • Track record of business development and client relationship management; a portable practice is welcome
  • Experience handling agency proceedings and courtroom litigation, and advising on union/collective-bargaining matters
  • Admission to practice in the relevant jurisdiction or eligibility for admission
