Senior partner hire to lead and grow an established energy and environmental practice in the Chicago office. The role will advise clients across regulatory, compliance and transactional matters in the energy sector, with an emphasis on environmental permitting, EPA-related matters and enforcement defense.

The successful candidate will bring an established practice and demonstrable business development ability, plus experience working on complex regulatory matters across federal and state regimes. This is an opportunity to join a national firm platform while retaining autonomy over a portable client base.

Licensed to practice in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction(s)
Proven partner-level experience in energy and environmental law, including EPA or similar regulatory matters
Track record of originating and managing client relationships and matters
Comfort leading teams and interfacing with clients on complex regulatory and transactional matters
