Seeking a lateral partner to strengthen and grow an established energy and environmental practice in the firm's Raleigh office. The role will focus on energy and infrastructure matters, counseling developers, owners and investors across regulatory, transactional and permitting issues.

The successful candidate will join a broad team advising clients on complex projects and regulatory challenges, and will play a lead role in business development and practice strategy in the region. A portable practice or demonstrable client relationships in the energy/infrastructure space are welcome.

Partner-level experience in energy, environmental and/or infrastructure work.
Proven track record of client development and leading complex matters or transactions.
Admission to practice in North Carolina, or ability to obtain admission or appropriate reciprocity.
Strong commercial judgment, team leadership and excellent written and oral advocacy skills.
