Senior partner hire sought to lead and expand a project finance and renewable energy practice in the firm's Raleigh office. The role focuses on representing lenders, sponsors and developers on financings for renewable generation, storage and energy infrastructure projects.

The successful candidate will be expected to develop and originate new business, mentor and grow a team of transactional lawyers, and work closely with capital markets, tax and corporate colleagues on cross-disciplinary matters. A portable practice or demonstrable origination capability in project/renewables finance is desirable.

Established partner-level experience in project finance and renewable energy transactions.
Proven origination record or ability to bring a portable practice (business development track record).
Strong transactional skills drafting and negotiating credit, security and project documentation.
Licensed to practice in the relevant US jurisdiction and able to work from the Raleigh office.
