Established national law firm seeks a lateral partner to join its Energy & Environmental practice in Raleigh. The role will focus on regulatory counseling and enforcement defense for energy-sector clients, with opportunities to work on matters involving the EPA and other federal and state regulators.

This is a partner-level role for an attorney with a proven regulatory practice and client relationships in the energy or environmental space. The hiring team values candidates who can both advise on complex regulatory matters and contribute to business development locally and nationally.

Established partner-level background in environmental and/or energy law, including regulatory and enforcement experience (EPA experience a plus).
Proven track record advising energy-sector clients and managing complex regulatory matters.
Demonstrable business development ability and a portable practice or client relationships.
Active bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction or eligibility to transfer.
