A partner-level appointment of this kind is decided by what the practice can carry across, more than on any single number.

Senior partner role to lead and grow an integrated energy, infrastructure, maritime and construction practice from the Raleigh office. The position will handle a mix of transactional, regulatory and tax matters across renewable energy, oil & gas, infrastructure projects and maritime/construction contracting.

The successful candidate will build client-facing relationships, originate new business and supervise deal teams while advising on project development, regulatory compliance and tax structuring. This role offers a leadership opportunity within a busy, multi-discipline practice serving domestic energy and infrastructure clients.

  • Portable book of business of $2M+ (USD)
  • Established partner with demonstrable client origination and relationship-management record
  • Substantial experience in energy and infrastructure matters (renewables, oil & gas, project development, or maritime/construction)
  • Strong transactional and regulatory background; tax expertise preferred
  • Ability to lead deal teams and mentor junior lawyers
