Leading national law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its Salt Lake City team and grow a market-facing energy and environmental practice. The role will handle regulatory and permitting matters, environmental counseling, and transactional support for clients across the energy sector.

The team values experience with EPA and state environmental programs, strong relationships across industry and regulatory bodies, and a track record of winning and managing client engagements. The position offers the opportunity to lead matters, mentor junior lawyers, and develop a regional practice.

Established partner-level experience in energy and environmental law, including regulatory and permitting matters.
Proven EPA, state environmental agency, or similar regulatory experience.
Demonstrable business development skills and interest in building a portable practice or book of business.
Experience leading teams and managing client engagements; active bar admission or eligibility in the hiring jurisdiction.
