Leading national law firm seeks a lateral partner to join its Salt Lake City corporate team, with a significant focus on M&A and transactional work across energy and finance matters. The role will handle deal structuring and execution for clients in renewable energy, oil & gas, and related capital markets transactions.

The successful candidate will join an established practice group, work on cross-office matters with domestic teams, and play a visible role in client development and matter leadership. A portable practice or demonstrable business-development capability in corporate/M&A or energy transactions is encouraged.

Partner-level experience in corporate/M&A and transactional matters, with energy sector experience (renewables and/or oil & gas)
Experience on capital markets or financing-related transactions preferred
Proven ability to originate and develop client relationships; portable book of business a plus
Track record of leading deals and managing teams across offices
Licensed to practice in the relevant US jurisdiction or able to obtain admission
