The role will advise clients across environmental law, energy and transportation regulation, and government contracts, leading complex regulatory engagements and counseling on compliance risk.
The successful candidate will build and lead client teams, develop matters across the public- and private-sector interfaces, and work closely with cross-practice colleagues on energy and infrastructure-related matters. A portable practice or demonstrable client-development capability in these areas is desirable.
- Established experience in environmental and regulatory practice, including government contracts or public-sector work
- Track record advising on energy or transportation regulatory matters (electric/gas, rail, trucking, or related sectors)
- Proven client-development and team leadership skills; ability to originate and grow workstreams
- Bar admission or eligibility to practice in Washington, D.C., and willingness to maintain required admissions
