Partner — Finance & Banking and Securities (New York)

Leading global law firm is seeking a partner to join its New York finance team with a primary focus on capital markets and related securities work. The role combines high-value transactional work, regulatory awareness and cross-practice collaboration on domestic and cross-border matters.

The successful candidate will lead transactions and client relationships, mentor and grow junior lawyers, and work closely with partners across debt and equity finance, securities compliance and corporate groups. There is an expectation of active business development and the ability to bring or expand client relationships.

• Established partner-level record in capital markets and securities-related finance transactions.
• Proven ability to originate and manage client relationships and to contribute to growth of the practice (portable business welcomed).
• Experience supervising and developing associates and collaborating across practices.
• Strong technical skills in securities regulation and transactional documentation, plus excellent written and oral communication.
• Admission to the New York bar (or eligible) and experience in the US market.
