Established, full-service law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its Charlotte finance and banking team. The role will focus on advising banks, financial institutions and corporate borrowers on a range of lending matters, including commercial lending, syndicated facilities and secured transactions.

The successful candidate will lead client engagements, originate and develop business, mentor junior lawyers and work collaboratively across a national finance practice. A portable practice or demonstrable origination record is welcome.

Proven partner-level experience in banking and finance transactions (syndicated lending, asset-based lending, secured financings or similar).
Track record of originating or developing client relationships and matters; portable practice preferred.
Demonstrated ability to manage and mentor associates and lead deal teams.
Strong drafting, negotiation and commercial judgment on finance documentation.
Bar admission in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction and ability to work from the Charlotte office.
