Highly regarded regional law firm is opportunistically hiring a partner to join its transactional teams focused on private equity M&A and leveraged/syndicated finance, with complementary federal tax and IP transactional support. The group handles platform and add-on acquisitions, sponsor lending and acquisition financing, and related regulatory and tax matters.

The firm is flexible on partner structure (counsel, income member or equity) and open to candidates with varying book sizes; strong originators and experienced deal leaders will be prioritized. The role is based in the firm's core Charlotte office, with consideration for candidates in nearby markets and remote arrangements on a case-by-case basis.

Established partner-level transactional experience in private equity M&A, acquisition finance/leveraged lending, or closely related practice areas.
Proven track record of originating or leading complex deals and managing client relationships; portable business preferred.
Experience advising on federal income tax or IP matters a plus for cross-practice collaboration.
Ability to work across offices and mentor junior lawyers; bar admission in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction.
