Leading national practice is seeking a lateral partner to join its Charlotte office to strengthen finance, corporate and securities capabilities. The role will sit across private equity, venture capital and capital markets matters and involve client-facing deal work and strategic business development.

The team handles a broad range of transactions for corporate and institutional clients; the hire will collaborate with cross-office deal teams and senior lawyers on complex financings and securities transactions. The firm is open to partners with an established, portable practice and proven ability to originate and manage client relationships.

Established partner with significant experience in finance, corporate and/or securities work (private equity, venture capital or capital markets).
Track record of leading transactions and supervising teams on complex financings and securities matters.
Proven business development ability; portable client relationships preferred.
Strong technical skills, excellent drafting and negotiation experience, and ability to work collaboratively across offices.
