Leading law firm seeking a lateral partner to join its Chicago office to strengthen the finance and corporate offering. The role will focus on high-value finance and corporate matters with a particular emphasis on asset and investment management work.

The team handles sophisticated transactional and regulatory matters for institutional clients; the new partner will originate and lead deals, advise on complex fund and investment structures, and mentor junior lawyers.

The firm is open to a range of partner seniorities and welcomes candidates who can demonstrate substantive experience in investment/asset management, whether or not they bring a portable book of business.

Established partner-level experience in finance and/or corporate practice, with demonstrable asset or investment management work
Track record leading transactions and advising institutional clients on fund and investment structures
Strong technical skills and ability to supervise and develop junior team members
Licensed to practice in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction or able to become licensed
