Partner — Finance & Corporate, Washington, D.C.

Major national law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its Washington, D.C. office to lead finance and corporate work. The role will focus on advising institutional clients and sponsors on a range of financing and investment management matters.

The practice combines traditional finance and corporate transactional work with a strong asset- and investment-management focus. The team handles complex deals and provides cross-practice collaboration across related regulatory and commercial issues.

Candidates with an established, portable practice and strong client relationships are encouraged to apply; the role includes business development and team leadership responsibilities.

• Partner-level corporate and finance transactional experience, with significant work in asset/investment management.
• Proven client origination and relationship management; portable practice preferred.
• Experience leading deal teams and mentoring senior associates.
• Licensed to practice in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction or eligible for reciprocity.
