Leading law firm seeks a lateral partner to develop and lead finance and project finance work in its Sacramento office, with a focus on renewable energy transactions. The role will combine deal execution, client relationship management and business development.

The successful candidate will run complex financings, advise sponsors/lenders on project and structured finance matters, and collaborate with cross‑disciplinary teams on energy matters. The role offers an opportunity to build and expand a renewable energy finance practice in a growing office.

A portable practice and demonstrable origination ability are welcome and will be an important factor in the hiring decision.

Established partner with substantial experience in finance and project finance matters, preferably with a focus on renewable energy.
Proven track record of leading complex financings and managing transaction teams.
Demonstrable client origination and business development skills; a portable practice is desirable.
Licensed or able to become licensed in the relevant state; strong commercial judgment and collaboration skills.
