Well-established German law firm is seeking a lateral partner to lead and grow its Government & Public and Compliance practice in the Berlin office. The role will combine high-profile regulatory, public-law and government-contract work, with opportunities to advise on compliance frameworks and interactions with public authorities.

The successful candidate will take a leading role in practice strategy, team development and business generation. A portable practice or existing client relationships relevant to government contracts, regulatory public-law matters or compliance advisory work will be viewed positively.

Qualified lawyer admitted to practise in Germany (or equivalent) with substantial experience in government/public law, government contracts or regulatory compliance.
Proven track record of client relationship development and practice leadership at partner level.
Strong drafting, advocacy and advisory skills on matters involving public authorities and compliance frameworks.
Comfortable managing and mentoring a team and contributing to firm-wide business development.
