Leading US law firm is seeking an experienced litigation partner to join its Birmingham office to lead and grow a Healthcare & Life Sciences litigation practice. The role will involve taking primary responsibility for significant defense and regulatory matters in the healthcare sector, supervising litigation teams, and advising institutional clients across the region.

The team handles high-stakes healthcare disputes and related regulatory exposure; the incoming partner will be expected to handle complex litigation, mentor associates, and collaborate with cross-practice colleagues on client-focused solutions. The role offers the opportunity to expand an existing book of business or develop new client relationships in the healthcare and life sciences markets.

Established partner-level litigation experience focused on healthcare and life sciences matters.
Proven track record of managing significant cases, including motion practice, depositions, and trial or arbitration experience.
Client development skills and ability to grow or bring a portable practice; demonstrable business generation is preferred.
Experience supervising and mentoring associates and managing multi-disciplinary teams.
Licensed to practice in the relevant jurisdiction or able to qualify promptly; strong professional references and reputation for ethical practice.
