Partner — Intellectual Property & Technology, Northern Virginia

Established global firm seeks a partner to join and help lead its Intellectual Property and Technology practices in Northern Virginia. The role will work at the intersection of IP, corporate M&A, technology transactions and emerging-growth/capital-markets matters, collaborating with national and international teams.

The successful candidate will build and deepen client relationships, originate work, and coordinate cross-practice engagements that include IP litigation strategy, transactional IP work, technology licensing, and corporate deals for growth-stage and public companies.

• Proven partner-level experience in IP and technology-focused transactional and/or litigation matters.
• Demonstrated experience on corporate M&A, capital-markets or emerging-growth matters involving technology or life-sciences clients.
• Track record of originating business and managing client relationships; portable practice preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively across practices and with teams in multiple US and international offices.
