Established national law firm seek a lateral partner to lead and expand an IP litigation practice focused on healthcare and life sciences matters. The role is based in Tampa and will handle complex disputes across patent, trade secret and related IP claims for healthcare clients.

The partner will supervise and develop a team of litigators, manage high‑stakes docket work through trial, and work closely with transactional and regulatory colleagues to deliver integrated client solutions. There is a clear emphasis on business development and growing the practice within the healthcare and life sciences sector.

Candidates with an existing portable practice or demonstrable client origination capability are encouraged to apply; the firm offers institutional resources to support casework and new business.

Admitted to practice in the relevant jurisdiction (Florida preferred).
Extensive IP litigation experience, including patent and trade secret matters; healthcare or life sciences experience strongly preferred.
Proven record of managing litigation teams and handling cases through trial.
Demonstrable client development and relationship management skills; portable practice or book of business welcomed.
Excellent written and oral advocacy skills and the ability to collaborate across practices.
