Leading national healthcare litigation group seeks an experienced medical malpractice partner to join its Tampa office. The role focuses on defending healthcare providers — including hospitals, physicians, nursing homes and allied professionals — in state and federal courts and administrative proceedings.

The successful candidate will handle all phases of litigation: drafting and responding to pleadings and discovery, preparing and arguing motions, and taking and defending depositions. The team is collaborative and sizable, offering exposure to a broad range of clinical specialties and high-volume healthcare defense work.

Admission to practice in Florida.
Minimum of seven years' experience defending healthcare providers in state and federal courts and administrative proceedings.
Specific experience defending nursing homes and medical malpractice claims required.
Strong litigation skills: discovery, motion practice, depositions, legal writing and analysis.
Ability to manage multiple matters, work independently and collaborate within a team; prior healthcare defendants' experience preferred but transferable litigation experience will be considered.
