Partner — Patent Litigation (Intellectual Property) — Tampa

Leading international law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its Tampa IP litigation team. The role focuses on patent litigation across district courts and ITC proceedings, leading client matters and supervising case teams.

The partner will take a central role in developing the practice locally, managing associates and paralegals, and working closely with national IP litigation colleagues. There is expectation of bringing a portable practice or demonstrable client relationships to grow the office’s patent litigation capabilities.

• Established partner-level background in patent litigation, with experience handling complex district court and related proceedings.
• Proven trial or contested litigation experience and strong technical understanding of patent law.
• Track record of originating or maintaining client relationships and business development capability.
• Experience leading teams and mentoring junior lawyers; excellent written and oral advocacy skills.
• Licensed to practice in the relevant jurisdictions or ability to obtain admission.
