Seeking a lateral partner to join the firm's Real Estate and Construction practice in Washington, D.C. The role will lead client-facing work across construction, development and real estate matters, advise on transactional and project issues, and help grow a market-facing practice.

The team handles a mix of project advisory, contract drafting and dispute avoidance/management for owners, developers and contractors. The role offers significant client contact, business development responsibility and an opportunity to mentor junior lawyers.

Open to candidates nationwide; portable business aligned with the practice groups will be considered.

Track record as a partner-level lawyer in real estate and construction law
Proven client development and relationship-management capability; portable business welcomed
Experience counseling on construction contracts, project delivery and development transactions
Strong leadership and team management skills
