Seeking a lateral partner to join a well-established, national law firm’s Washington, D.C. office to lead and grow a real estate and construction practice. The role combines transactional real estate work, construction counseling and dispute work, with opportunities to advise on hospitality matters.

The position offers a platform to develop client relationships, supervise junior lawyers, and work on matters that intersect with succession and estate planning for real-estate owners. The team works across the U.S., with a strong East Coast presence and some work extending to other regions.

Established partner with significant experience in commercial real estate and construction law, including transactions and dispute resolution.
Proven track record advising on hospitality-related real estate matters and familiarity with succession/estate planning issues for owners is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to originate and maintain client relationships; a portable practice or book of business is welcome.
Experience supervising teams and contributing to business development initiatives.
