Leading international law firm seeks a lateral partner to join and develop its tax practice in the Chicago office. The role will focus on advising businesses and individuals on sophisticated federal, state and transactional tax matters.

The team handles a broad range of corporate and transactional tax work, and this position offers an opportunity to take a visible role in growing the practice locally. Candidates with an established, portable tax practice or a track record of origination are encouraged to apply.

Established partner-level tax experience at a major law firm (significant federal, state or transactional tax work)
Licensed to practice in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction(s)
Proven record of client development and ability to bring or grow a portable practice
Strong technical tax skills and experience managing and mentoring associates
Excellent communication and business development skills
