A leading US law firm is seeking a partner to join its Ventura County office to lead and grow a tax-focused litigation practice. The role blends courtroom experience with complex tax advisory and dispute work across state and federal forums.

The team handles contentious tax matters for a range of commercial clients. The incoming partner will have a visible role developing client relationships, supervising junior lawyers and driving originating work within the region.

Established partner-level experience in tax controversy, tax litigation or closely related tax disputes work.
Strong trial and motion experience in state and/or federal courts and familiarity with tax procedures and statutes.
Track record of client development and ability to grow a portable practice.
Active admission to practice in California (or ability to obtain) and excellent written and oral advocacy skills.
