Leading national law firm seeks a Junior to Mid‑Level Patent Litigation Associate to join its Austin IP litigation team. The role focuses on complex patent disputes across technology sectors, handling both plaintiff and defendant matters, including cases involving non‑practicing entities and commercial competitors.

The team works on high‑stakes disputes, collaborates with engineers and expert witnesses, and supports all phases of litigation from discovery and claim construction to trial preparation. The position offers exposure to a broad client base across telecommunications, software/hardware, financial services and manufacturing.

J.D. from an accredited law school and active Texas bar admission (or eligibility)
Prior experience in patent litigation at a law firm (junior to mid‑level associates)
Comfort working with technical subject matter; advanced STEM degrees or technical background a plus
Strong briefing, motion practice and litigation drafting skills; experience with discovery and depositions
